The naked face is the first novel written by Sidney Sheldon. This book is basically a thriller. It mainly revolves around the life of a Dr. Judd Stevens who is a psychoanalyst. He is a very successful doctor. In his day to day life he deals with many patients with different disorder;.this was Judd Stevens life.However one day, he suddenly realises that someone is trying to kill him.
He doubts some of his patients also.He was attacked twice.Later Judd Stevens hire a private investigator.Even the private investigator doubts some of his patients; Harrison Bruke , Ann with whom Judd has feelings and Terry. As investigation goes on the private detective get killed before giving a hint regarding the killer.
Finally Judd decides to find the killer by himself.He goes through all the possible ways to find the killer.
He discovers that it was Ann's husband who was trying to kill him.Her husband Antony Demarco is a criminal. He feared that Ann had revealed his real identity to Judd.In the end Judd helped Ann and killed Antony.
If anyone likes suspense thriller i would recommend this book and all Sidney Sheldon.A marvelous piece of work.
