Charlie bucket is an ordinary boy by all accounts.However what he did not know was all the extraordinary events that was going to take place.He lived in a battered old house on the edge of town with his parents and four grandparents.Charlie got but one chocolate bar every year for his birthday owing to the fact that he was very poor,they had watered down cabbage soup every night and if they were lucky some bread.The chocolate factory owned by Willy Wonka was offering five children the grand opportunity of a tour of his factory,facing insurmountable odds Charlie amazingly won one.
Willy Wonka's factory was the stuff of dreams,anything and everything a child could imagine was within that factory.Charlie was truly in awe,the other children who were all well off were bored,they failed to see the tour for the adventure it was.At the end of the tour Willy Wonka told Charlie that he had won,that he was the selected heir to his wonderful factory,but on one condition that he could never see his family again,Charlie loved his family and upon hearing this outright rejected the offer.Willy was very perturbed by this decision and pondered over it for many days.Finally he agreed,Charlie was overwhelmed at this news.He then moved into the factory with his family and lived happily ever after.
