The Book that brought destruction to the world, that's how i would like to call the Mein Kampf. Mein Kampf or my struggle is an autobiographical manifesto by German Fuhrer and National Socialist Party leader Adolf Hitler, in which he outline his political ideology and future plans for Germany.The first volume of the book was written during his days in Lands berg jail and it was published in the year 1925. it is said that Mein Kampf is the largest sold book in the world after The Holy Bible.
Mein Kampf is an extraordinary work by Adolf Hitler. In Mein Kampf, Hitler used the main thesis "the Jewish peril", which posits a Jewish conspiracy to gain world leadership. The reason behind the change of his liberal attitude towards Jew after his arrival at Vienna is clearly described. He believed that the two evils of the world are Communism and Judaism. Hitler believed that Jew's are the reason behind the downfall of German Emperor. The autobiography was publish in 2 volumes. This review contains only the first part which comprises of 12 chapters.
In the introduction Hitler Clearly describes that through this book he is not trying to talk with strangers but he is trying to talk with those followers of the movement whose heart belongs to it and wish to know it more profoundly. He rightly points out that only fewer people are won over by written words than spoken words. He also points out that behind every successful movements on earth there is a powerful speaker not a great writer. Even though Mein Kampf is said as the autobiography of Adolf Hitler, only a little about his personal life is portrayed in Mein Kampf.
The autobiography begins with his childhood at his parents house. The first chapter of his autobiography extensively deals with his family, primary education, the sudden death of his father and mother. Hitler loved his mother more than anyone in the world. Her death was a shock to young Hitler. After her death he decides to leave for Vienna. Hitler had a hard time in Vienna, years of study and suffering. The problems he faced in Vienna hardened him and made him tough. during his years in Vienna Hitler came to know about the hidden faces of the Jew's and his attitude towards them changed. After a long years of suffering he moved to Munich. There he encountered with many problems that made Jew his enemy.
When the world war propagated, Hitler expressed his wish to join the army to the ruler of the Nation through a letter. He got a positive reply and Hitler wore the army uniform for the first time. He saw millions of brave soldiers marching to the battle field singing their National Anthem. It gave him the courage to fight the enemy. In this chapter he describes about many victories of the German army in world war. But faith was against Hitler and Germany they lost the war. Hitler Believed that Jew's are the reason for this failure too. And another reason for the failure he believed to be was the war propaganda. During the climax of world war Hitler was hospitalized due to eye injury. When he heard about the loss of German army his eyes filled with tears. It was the first time after his mother's death that Hitler had wept.
After the loss of war, the country was struck with poverty. Hitler was discharged from the hospital. He rejoined the army. There he was appointed to attend a political party meeting. But his attitude towards the political parties were contempt. After attending several meeting of the various political parties. He got a vision that a revolution is essential for the bright future of Germany. So he decides to bring together a group of people who have the same hopefulness in the possibilities of his nation. He wanted the name of the organisation to strike the citizen's heart. So he named the Organization as National Socialist Party. In the end of the first volume of his autobiography Hitler talk's about he rise of Nazi party and himself as a politician. Hitler dedicated the first volume of his work to those who fell in front of the FELDHERRNHALLE as a common memorial, that the memory of those martyrs may be a permanent source of light for the followers of his movement.
