Ignited Minds - APJ Abdul Kalam (review by Ann Ben)

                                      The book gives us a real image of what our India is,unlike what we see through the media channels and newspapers . APJ  Abdul Kalam ,a person who has brought a lot of change to the nation ,our former prime minister is the author of the book.

Kalam focuses on the majestic powers that we have within India.He tells us how there are several people in our country itself including you , who can bring a lot of good changes to the county,but they'll have to get ignited.He asks us to be ignited to prove the world that we are competitive.Ignited for the benefit of the nation and not for your own self.Ignited for working with people from different fields,because then something new will be created that can bring about a change.

Initially in the book,he starts giving a speech on values and motivation which keeps the reader interested to move on to the following pages.Interaction with students from different colleges ,regions and religions is a special part of the book.The secret to success of many famous personalities like Narayan Murthy , Azim Premji  and several other entrepreneurs is a solid reason why the young should read this book,not just once but again and again.The book ends on a very motivational and intellectual note.The message that Kalam's teachers and scientists gave him can change the whole perspective of our own life.

Abdul Kalam ,in this book has conveyed to us 'Unleashing the power within India ', how we the youth can ignite our minds as its already ignited,we just need to start doing for the nation  rather than for ourselves.
